Grasses are found almost everywhere on earth and are grown for food, pasture, ornament, lawns, fibres, and construction material. Ornamental grasses are extremely hardy and include some of the easiest plants to grow.

Grasses can be planted in flowing masses for a nostalgic country feel, in rigid symmetrical blocks to make a powerful impression, or dotted amongst river rock to simulate a creek bed. Grasses come in a variety of colours and textures to accent any garden design.
