Bamboo is the largest member of the grass family with well over a thousand species worldwide. Some varieties can grow up to three feet per day and reach one hundred feet tall, while others are slow growing dwarfs that are measured in inches. Bamboo will tolerate almost any climate except extreme cold.
Gardeners love the exotic elegance that bamboo lends to a landscape and there are many colours and styles from which to choose. We suggest clumping varieties that are slower growing and less invasive than traditional bamboo.
